GENEROUS SPACE FOR INNOVATION
5,500 square meters of gross floor area on four floors offer generous space for innovation.
The sustainable business park LUNEDELTA is being built in Bremerhaven in the immediate vicinity of the largest nature reserve in the state of Bremen. One of the green area's flagship projects will be the business incubator LUNEDELTA. The phrase "De Tokamen Tiet" translates from Low German as "the time to come". With its resource-conserving and energy-efficient construction, it is a pioneering project for the green ecnonomy sector, designed to provide a home for young and innovative companies who are eager to do business sustainably.
In its planning phase, the building has already been pre-certified by the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) with platinum certificationn. The business incubator is being built and operated by the city-owned Bremerhavener Entwicklungsgesellschaft Alter/Neuer Hafen mbH (BEAN). The new building will be characterized by three key features, which the planning consortium summarizes with the terms sufficiency, efficiency and consistency. This means, precise planning, compactness and multifunctionality reduce space consumption.
Durable building materials and efficient technology reduce CO2 emissions and costs. Renewable, regenerative and recycled materials conserve resources. A low-tech energy concept with geothermal energy and salt water energy storage maximizes self-consumption of solar power. The timber construction saves 41% of the building mass and reduces annual greenhouse gas emissions by 46%, saving around 100 tons of CO2 during operation.
5,500 square meters of gross floor area on four floors offer generous space for innovation.
Flexible utilization concept with offices and workshops in various sizes (S, M, L) to meet individual needs.
Shared common areas such as meeting rooms, a canteen and space for childcare facilitate interaction and cooperation.
The center will be built according to the "Cradle to Cradle" principle to minimize construction waste and prioritize the use of recycled materials.
